4 Packet Crock Pot Roast

Pot Roast is one of my favorite meals and when I can put it in the crock pot it makes it even better.  Plug it in and let it cook all day and when I arrive home I can make some potatoes and another veggie and dinner is served.

To season my roast I usually use a packet of Onion Soup mix or the packet mix from McCormick’s for pot roast but was intrigued to try some new flavors when I ran across this recipe at this blog.  It was delicious and I hope you try it too!

Ingredients

• 1 pkg. ranch dressing mix
• 1 pkg. onion soup mix
• 1 pkg. brown gravy mix
• 1 pkg. italian seasoning
• ½ - ¾ cup water

Instructions

1. Using crock pot liner for easier clean up place roast in crock pot.
2. Mix all dry packets in separate bowl with water and pour over roast.
3. Cook on low for 8-10 hours
4. Can add assorted veggies (carrots and potatoes)
