I share this to mark my journey.....This week, we celebrate our sweet grandson CJ, who turns 12 on Thursday.
It's his first birthday without his PoPo here to celebrate with us. Another first checked off the list.
If only we could visit Heaven for the day… an hour… or even just long enough for one quick picture. I know Ricky would be so happy to see the wonderful young man CJ is becoming and to finally hold his little sister, Audrey Dawn. I can almost imagine her looking up at him and giving him one of her sweet little smiles, grabbing at his beard.
This picture is one that could never have been taken in real life, but it beautifully captures what my heart wishes for CJ's 12th birthday.
This week, we celebrate this sweet boy with hearts full of love and memories. Some of those memories are from earth, and some are the ones we carry in our hearts until Heaven.
