We spend so much of life making plans, thinking we’re in control. But God sees the bigger picture. Sometimes He smiles—or even laughs—because what He’s preparing for us is far greater than anything we imagined.

Life can change in an instant.

Just days ago, my husband was standing beside me. At his funeral, I held his picture in my hands. 
This is my reality now.

I’m not sharing for likes or attention. I share to document the journey—to be honest about the heartache, and to seek God’s purpose through the pain. 
I smile through the tears because the love I have for this man is forever.  God truly handpicked him for me, and I’ll always be thankful for the time we had.

Ricky always told me, “You can do hard things—you just don’t want to.” And now, I’m living those words one moment at a time.

Your love, prayers, and support have been a lifeline. You are carrying us more than you know.

Even in the sorrow, God’s love hasn’t let go.
Love big.  Because life can shift in a moment.
