The Firsts are always the hardest,....

The firsts are always the hardest. Last night was the first time we gathered around our long “Walton” family table without you. 💔
Your empty chair was a heartfelt reminder of how deeply you are missed—and how our family will never be quite the same.
I don’t share this to seek sympathy, but to document my journey of learning to live without my loving husband—father to our boys, PoPo to our grandson, beloved son, brother, and uncle. The hole you’ve left will be felt for years to come.
The last six weeks without you have been filled with prayers, kind words, and memories—but the hardest part, the day-to-day of living without you, is now settling in.
We hold tightly to the truth of God’s Word, knowing His presence surrounds us in our grief:
"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." – Psalm 34:18
