🌳🌿Dollar Tree Farmhouse Pizza Pan Craft

These pizza pan crafts are trending right now in the Dollar Store Facebook crafty groups as well as on Pinterest.

Now, I know they are not everyone's style but they are cute for the season.

Here is how I made mine.....

    Here are the supplies I used:

• pizza pan - Dollar Tree
• place mat - Dollar Tree
• Waverly chalk paint - Moss
• Hunter green acrylic paint - it's what I had on hand that matched the color I wanted.
• #10 flat paint brush - (see my affiliate link here for the paint brushes I use)
• Aleene's Tacky Glue
• eucalyptus bush - Walmart
• spring flowers - Michael's
• wire
• nautical rope - Dollar Tree
• 1.5 inch burlap ribbon

*NOTE* Watch the video below or click here to watch on YouTube.  This gives you a visual look of how I put my spin on this trending craft idea. Instructions:

1. I started by giving the edges of the pizza pan 2 coats of Moss green chalk paint.  I let dry in between coats.
2. I then added stripes of hunter green paint to the edge of the pizza pan.  I used the end of a paint brush to make the dots in between the stripes. You would change colors according to the place mat choice.

The trending projects can be found all over inside the crafty facebook groups and I get a lot of tips from those crafters that have previously made this project.  Just like this tip of using and splatter screen to get the perfect size circle for the pan.  Genius! I just used my ultra fine sharpie marker to trace the circle.       3.  I cut out the circle with scissors and glued it to the pizza pan using Aleene's tacky glue.  I put glue on the backside of the place mat and adhered it to the pan.  Now, I purchased this big-ole-tub of tacky glue from Joann's (because I could use a coupon) and it's lasted me for a long time.  Dollar Tree and other craft stores do sell smaller bottles which is a bit easier to handle.         We all learn differently and pick up new techniques or see different aspects to tweak to our own individual liking. The concept is the same but we put our own spin or special touches on it.
