Hello my crafty friends and welcome to my blog today. Over on my YouTube channel I’ve shared several wreath projects with my viewers that have a hand painted sign in the middle that has a “worn weathered look”. It’s so much easier to create than some think. My viewers seem to like that look {thank you} and I was asked to share a tutorial. So here it is.
Using the crackle medium {it’s more of a thick gel} is not hard but it does take some practice. I learned the how-to’s of using this product from watching other painters. Yes, that’s how we {or at least I do} learn. Others who share their talents and do this and not that techniques. I suggest trying this out on a scrap project before doing a real one.
Let me know your feedback. Was my video helpful or do you have some tips for me? Let me know by leaving me a comment below.
