Hello and welcome! It’s becoming an annual tradition to show you some peaks of my most favorite Christmas decorations. I am a country girl at heart and love the burlap, gingham, checked, red and green colors for my decor style.
I tend to decorate with the same items over the years but like to change them up a bit adding in a few new ones.
Here is a picture of my tree, fireplace and mantel. I have tons of handmade (and purchased too) ornaments that I don’t have a big enough tree to put them on. It’s hard to pick and choose which ones to include so I just hang until I feel “that’s enough”.
I’m totally in love with this burlap wreath.
I created it using a 20 inch wire wreath form, added burlap strips, tied on green fabric & red checkered strips and added rusty bed springs.
My adorable mother-in-law sewed the fabric candy canes and little Christmas tree pillows for me a few years ago. I keep them loose in a tub and decorate with them throughout my home, in wreaths and in bowls for primitive bowl fillers.
Now these little tumbling Santas are one of my favorite items in my collection. I have them highlighted with a yellow circle so you can see Santa doing his stunts. They are sooo cute!
I have had this fabric covered back old window frame for many years. It is very rustic and country (yay!!). I decided to tie some jute string around several areas and hang my Christmas cards using clothespins on it this year. I love love love how it all came together.
I pulled out a few of my favorite Christmas village houses to create a village in this year’s decorations.
My Christmas Annie has been with me for many years too. I always find a place for her in my decor somewhere.
Well there you have my 2014 FAVORITE Christmas decorations.
Thanks for stopping by and peaking at my country treasures.
