Hey Y’all ~
I can’t believe that Christmas Day has come and gone. I feel like it flew by like a jet plane. I guess it was because Thanksgiving was a week later this year. Surely I’m not the only one who feels this way. I honestly did not even put all my decorations out this year. In a way it makes me sad but it’s life and a reality.
Our family had a wonderful time with lots of great food, carried on traditions, remembered lost loved ones and great laughs creating wonderful memories.
It’s not what’s under the tree that matters, it’s whats around the tree that does!
My farmhouse tree was filled with black and white buffalo check goodness and red truck embellishments. Around the bottom of my tree I had a buffalo check tree skirt I bought at Michaels, metal red truck I found at Buc-ee’s and a Santa belt countdown pillow I received from my nephew/godchild years ago. It’s definitely a favorite.
I shared a special message with all of you! See that here or watch the video below.
My sister’s tree this year was filled with farmhouse goodness, personalized family ornaments and lots of red picks.
This is my family’s second Christmas without my nephew. We remember him at each gathering by lighting a candle and saying a special prayer. We know he is with us is our hearts always. See his story here.
My mother-in-law is a wonderful decorator and always has the most festive joyful trees.
One thing I will remember is how she decorates the bathtub in the guest bath for each season.
She even decorates the laundry room. This year was a sweet sleigh with Santa, greenery and festive goodness.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2020 from our family to yours!

Such a beautiful family Tracy. God has truly blessed you. Thank you for sharing your beautiful decorations with us. I too was unable to put everything out this year. My husband Paul had a knee replacement and I had to get ready early. And life does move quickly and I was not ready. I look forward to reading your blog. Blessings to you in 2020.
