Turn an ordinary kid’s beach chair into an extra-ordinary gift by adding a name using vinyl. Everyone loves having their name on their “stuff”. I guess it’s a sense of ownership and letting everyone know “that’s mine!”. ☺
Supplies
- kids beach chair – Wal-Mart
- white vinyl
- painters tape or transfer tape
- name (Caden) – Sesame Street Font – Sunny Day
I cut out the name using my die cutting machine cricut and Sunny Day font found on Sesame Street Font cartridge. To cut vinyl — my settings are speed 4 and pressure 2 on my machine for the “kiss cut”. I also used the multi-cut of 2 to get an extra kiss cut. I used the painter’s tape to transfer the name to the chair.
To finish…..
Add a beach towel and you have the perfect gift for a special little person. It would be fun to add sunglasses, water bottle, flip flops or more summer items. Make it fun!
I hope everyone is enjoying their summer!

Very cute idea – I have made a few of the chairs as gifts and going to make one this week for a one year old birthday. I like the idea of adding glasses, towel, sunscreen, etc….
