I wouldn’t have thought of putting these two colors together in one holiday decor project if I didn’t see an entire section of various holiday signs and Christmas decor items at Hobby Lobby this year. The more I looked at all of these items available the more I liked it. So, I decided to buy some of the materials to make this wreath. The picture really doesn’t do it justice. The colors just pop together. It’s not the most traditional Christmas colors but it does put a fun twist on things.
You’ll find an entire roll of turquoise deco mesh, red shiny deco mesh, various ribbons in turquoise and red, loopy white and red ribbon and red, turquoise, white and silver shatterproof ornaments all inside this beauty. For the center I painted an 8 1/2 by 11 inch canvas to match the colors of the wreath. I just love how it all came together.
Just another way to share some non-traditional holiday decor. 🙂
Sharing with some of these linky parties this week.

my daughter’s friend selected these colors for her wedding. I wasn’t fond of the color combo either, but it sure grew on me and is now one of my favorites.
beautiful wreath, I just love when you add the personal artwork.
