If you’ve been following me for any length of time you know that I love rustic things. It just makes my heart so very happy.
I work part-time for a local business designing wreaths for their shop. I’ve been doing that for years. Of course it makes me so happy when they sell quickly.
This wreath was pretty simple to put together. There is no “over the top” ribbons or embellishments. Just a simple, cute rustic wreath.
I started with a green pine base and a cute tag sign from Dollar Tree
SUPPLIES:
- 24 inch pine wreath form
- tag sign
- ribbon
- chenille stems
- tiny attacher – mini stapler for ribbon assistance
- rusty bells
- rustic embellishments
- curly ribbon picks
- red berries
- floral tape
- jingle bells
- wire to attach bells
I just scrunched the ribbons in the middle.
I put the ribbon bundles around the wreath every 3 inches, attaching with greenery and to the frame.
I took the rustic picks apart and made my own bundle like the picture below. Some of the picks are a little hard to get a part but with a little tugging, cutting and pulling I was able to get them the way I want.
I bundled 2 bells together with wire. My favorite wire is from Dollar Tree. It’s easy to work with.
.
I made 4 bundles of 2-bells each and placed around the wreath.
