Hello my sweet friends — I hope you all had a fantastic week-end. I am really excited to have some of my crafting mojo back. I guess when we get a little burned out on things we need to take a step back and reexamine things, allowing ourselves some time to recoup. Thanks for sticking with me. 🙂
Yesterday, I shared this adorable Post It Note Acrylic Frame Teacher’s Gift and today I would like to share with you how I wrapped them up to gift them to the teachers. I used regular white lunch bags which I embossed using my Cuttlebug and added an adorable little apple tag to each bag. Aren’t they cute? Share your comments below (I love reading them and will try to respond with a personal message to you.)
The little apple stamp is from Michael’s and the sentiment is by My Pink Stamper (School Days). The Kraft tags are from the craft store (I purchased a package of 20). The addition of the green/white gingham washi tape just brings the entire tag to life. To attach the tag to the bag I punch two holes in the top of the bag and threaded the ribbon through each hole. The red/white gingham ribbon (Hobby Lobby) has elastic in it so it holds my tag on the bag nicely. I thought about coloring in the apple with copics but so glad I decided not to. I think it looks perfect as it is.
Thanks for stopping by today and I appreciate all of your comments. To make sure you don’t miss any upcoming posts please subscribe to my updates. 🙂

Love the idea of these gift bags! My brain is starting to go in all kinds of directions….. And I agree: I like the apples un-colored. Sometimes, less is more!
