I wanted to share a fun and crafty way to jazz up some plain ole white or brown lunch sacks into extraordinary gift bags. My good friend Lori (thanks friend!) shared this technique with me awhile back and I thought it would be a fun idea to share it with you too. Just run these bags through the Cuttebug, Big Shot or other embossing machine using an embossing folder. Depending on the bag size, embossing folder size and width you’re working with will determine if you need to run the bag through several times alternating the way the folder fits through the machine. This is how I created these fun country bags that packaged up the Teacher’s gifts earlier this week.
Lunch bags are pretty inexpensive and that is always a plus when finding ways to gift items. The possibilities are absolutely endless when it comes to the decor and embellishments one can create.
I usually use my Cuttlebug machine and embossing folder. I will run the bag through the machine one way and then turn it around and run it through the opposite end, trying to line up edges as much as I can. Depending on your embossing folder will also depend on the design you achieve. So fun!
