Happy Summer friends!
Well, it’s not officially summer yet per the calendar but it’s been the 90’s this first week of June so I’d say we’re pretty close.
This wreath was a little out of my comfort zone – meaning one of my best customer’s found the wreath at the goodwill with the mesh and watermelons already attached. She purchased some ribbon at Craft Outlet and asked if I would “fix it up for her”. She has impeccable taste in ribbon choices so I was able to use everything she bought.
My only regret is not taking a before photo. It would be a great comparison.
I used my Pro Bow the Hand bow maker to make this HUGE bow to put as a main focal point of the wreath. I’m getting better with making these types of bows.
I spruced up the wooden watermelons using some extra paint and doodling on the watermelon rind. I used my fan paintbrush to get the affect I wanted. Did you spot the little wooden ant? It’s super cute!
I used my Rapid Fuse Glue to adhere the ant to the wooden watermelon.
